M7

M7 is a series of seven graphic prints designed to demystify how reality works—not in some abstract, woo-woo way, but in a grounded, literal sense! Inspired by the ancient wisdom of the 7 Hermetic Principles, this collection explores the idea that every human being is imbued with the same creative power that birthed the universe—and these principles are the blueprint for how to use it or better yet, how to MILK IT!  

The principles date back tens of thousands of years and spoke to something deep inside me, they are: (1)Mentalism (2)Correspondence (3)Vibration (4)Polarity (5)Rhythm (6)Cause & Effect and (7)Gender. Whether you’re spiritual, religious, atheist, or somewhere in between, these natural laws transcend belief systems. Like gravity or time, they’re always at play, whether you care about them or not. I first encountered the Hermetic Principles in 2022 and was immediately intrigued, to the point where I developed a mnemonic device (m² + c² + RVP) to commit them to memory. But life did what life does—and the concepts went quiet for a while.

Fast-forward to Spring 2025: I was in a creative flow state—ideas arriving faster than I could write them down and that’s when a crystal-clear directive surfaced: “Translate the Hermetic Principles into modern, Stockholm-inspired visuals. Use reductionism. Keep it simple. Find the essence”

The brief was specific, yet expansive—and the timing felt cosmic. I was traveling and working on other creative projects at the time, but by June I had the space to bring the vision to life. The artistic process flowed like magic. I wasn’t just designing—I was decoding. The principles themselves are quite heavy (metaphorically speaking) because they shift responsibility from the outside world back onto us, meaning playing the victim card no longer holds (Think: life happens through you, not to you).  My challenge was to visually lighten that weight without diluting the message. Each composition became an act of translation: distilling ancient truths into minimalist geometric forms, while preserving the integrity of the original teachings. It felt like the prescribed authors of the knowledge (Egyptian god Thoth and Greek god Hermes) were co-piloting, guiding my hand as I peeled back the layers.

By July, the M7 series was complete, pictured below! The colorways and forms read spacious and current. The distressed overlay serves as a nod to the ancient origins beneath the modern lines. Each print feels timeless—Sitting at the intersection of that which is sacred and mystical, but also elemental and approachable.

The 7 Hermetic Principles were intentionally ordered by the ancient masters—each one builds upon the last, forming a holistic system so I recommend starting with Principle I: Mentalism, and building your collection sequentially. However, each print is priced individually, so you can start wherever you’re most drawn or buy them all at once. Prints measure 18” W x 24 H” (poster size) and fit a standard frame (not included, but this CB2 frame compliments the print beautifully). Whether you hang one or all seven, you’re inviting more awareness, beauty, and power into your personal space.
