7 Doors, One Key
The number 7 holds a curious position in my life. I never thought much about it, yet it keeps showing up in mysterious ways. My birthday falls on the 27th day of the month, the year I was born is the reverse (72), and even my house number reduces to 7. Add to that, a century-old mural in my living room that has “7” etched into its mortar—something I didn’t notice until five years after moving in. Moreover, my mom (with no prior knowledge of my recent fascination with #7) gave me a numerology chart for my birthday that revealed 7 is my soul number! For context, soul numbers represent our innermost desires—what we truly want from life, whether we consciously realize it or not. If you’re interested in knowing your personal soul number via a complimentary numerology chart drop me an email.
The crescendo is when I discovered the 7 Hermetic Principles in 2022—that’s when everything clicked because they felt strangely familiar—To the point where I created a mnemonic device (m² + c² + RVP) to commit them to memory for easy recall. But as life unfolded the concepts drifted quietly into the background—until I was ready to unpack their deeper meaning.
Fast-forward to Spring 2025: I was in a creative flow state, ideas arriving faster than I could write them down. That’s when a crystal-clear directive surfaced: “Translate the Hermetic Principles into modern, Stockholm-inspired visuals. Use reductionism. Keep it simple. Find the essence.” The timing felt cosmic so my bookmarks from years prior were quickly reinstated. I was traveling and working on other projects, but by June I had space to bring the vision to life. The creative process flowed like magic. I wasn’t just designing—I was decoding. Each composition became an act of translation: distilling ancient truths into minimalist geometric forms while preserving the integrity of the original teachings.
The completed prints (titled M7) are a modern take on wisdom that has traveled across millennia, attributed to divine figures like Thoth of Egypt and Hermes of Greece. These great masters provided the blueprint for how reality works and I have thoughtfully converted that sacred knowledge into iconography for present day seekers. WHY? Because icons (symbols) are a universal language that bypass the filters of the rational mind, delivering meaning directly to the layers of consciousness that shape perception itself—in other words, they bridge the gap between logic and intuition (source: Library of Thoth). The collection includes (1) Mentalism, (2) Correspondence, (3) Vibration, (4) Polarity, (5) Rhythm, (6) Cause & Effect, and (7) Gender.
The M7 Series is more than art—it’s about energetic alignment. The spaces we occupy (both mentally and physically) influence how we show up in the world—Choosing to display the prints in your home or office promotes self-awareness because they remind us of the extraordinary power we hold, but may have forgotten how to wield. For me, the series reinforces how to communicate with the universe (on a daily basis) to create the reality I want and if you’re reading this, perhaps the collection will do the same for you :)
